This drama is based on a real life figure Kim
Man-deuk who was living in Jeju
Island.
She goes through a lot of changes in her life; at first she becomes a
Gisaeng but turned herself into a merchant, and then becomes one of the
biggest philanthropists in Joseon
Dynasty.
Man-deuk gets adopted by Granny at a young age. With great efforts, she
becomes a Gisaeng who has outstanding talents in various areas. However,
she gives up everything and runs away with her lover Jeong Hong-soo.
She gets caught and sends to the transitory wards for epidemics for one
year. When she came out from the wards, she starts to take care of the
Gisaengs who are suffering from illness. Man-deuk goes into a business
and restores the business ethics in Jeju. Meanwhile, Moon-sun, who used
to be a friend of Man-deuk, feels a sense of inferiority and competes
with Man-deuk’s business.

Synopsis A
story about the life of General Gyebaek of Baekje in the mid 7th
century. Gyebaek va prezenta viaţa generalului cu
acelaşi nume care a trăit în
secolul 7, în regatul coreean Baekje. Dacă vorbim despre generalul
Gyebaek, atunci vorbim despre Bătălia de la
Hwangsanbeol, dată între regatele
Shilla şi
Baekje. Baekje s-a aliat cu regatul
Goguryeo pentru a învinge Shilla, dar
aceasta a primit ajutor din partea dinastiei
Tang
chineze.

Synopsis
Acţiunea
dramei se petrece în perioada târzie Joseon (1392-1910). Serialul ne va
spune povestea a doi băieţi care au fost schimbaţi la naştere, fiind
nevoiţi să trăiască o viaţă diferită decât viaţa care le era sortită la
naştere.
Chun Dong (interpretat de actorul Cheon
Jeong-myeong, Cinderella’s Sister),
s-a născut într-o familie de nobili, dar a fost schimbat la naştere cu
un copil născut în coliba sărăcăcioasă a unor cerşetori şi îşi trăieşte
viaţa ca un sclav, în timp ce Gwi Dong (interpretat de
actorul Lee
Sang-yoon, Jejoongwon) trăieşte viaţa ca un nobil, deşi el ar
fi trebui
să fie un cerşetor Amândoi se îndrăgostesc de aceeaşi
